Had the Tomassi Ripasdo a few days ago, and it was, as the French would say... Le Trash.
I’ll Sestante is different... way better than I remember it. It actually tastes like a Ripasso.

Baking spice, sour cherry and moss on the nose. lush raspberry, cinnamon, black liquorice, sour cherry in the mouth. Medium + tannin. Medium body. Medium alcohol (13%). Medium + acidity. Bone dry. 91 pts.

Nice wine. Slightly dry. Good mouthfeel for a thinner wine. Lively flavour with lots of berry notes and a nice finish.

Faint smell nothing strong. Dry but doesn't leave your mouth feeling like a desert. Leaves a sensation not sure how to put it into words though. Smooth going down. Overall good but tastes a bit too light for me. Still great though.

A medium-bodied wine that is very smooth. It is somewhat dry but does not give that puckering crispy feel. Bit as stewy, or if as Shiraz but really good :)
