The nose a little shy. Muted fruits of; lemon, lime, light grapefruit, green melon, light green apple, honey notes, soft granite minerals, powdery chalkiness, a little white spice, white & yellow flowers.
The body is medium with incredible mouthfeel. It round, rich and a touch waxy. Fruits of; lemon, lime, light grapefruit, green melon, light green apple, honey notes, soft granite minerals, powdery chalkiness, a little white spice, white & yellow flowers. The acidity is round and perfect. The rich, lush, elegant, well balanced finish is fantastic.

Wonderful Chard, enough freshness and citrusy nuances to make me happy. Sensible use of oak is a good thing too. Like!

Fresh apple and lemoncurd notes on the palate, whiff of oriental spice and only a faint tropical nuance. Is that some rocky minerality in the back? Savvy use of oak.
Very reliable label and this year is their best to date.
For all you dutchies over here: great qpr when those “wilde-wijn-dagen” are on again..!
