Barrel Aged California Chardonnay

This has a lot less oak then the 2013 vintage but it still lacks any fruit and is over the top buttery. You could say it's "yummy" though. Good length. $16.

A perfect example of the frankly silly California style of Chardonnay, this wine succeeds in being both creamy AND buttery, with that extreme secondary malolactic fermentation.

emphasis on the wood. tastes like buttered popcorn, served on a plank of smoked cedar.

Butter, oak. Little acid, overpowering. Little flavor of chardonnay.

Meh. Worth a try. Not worth the calories.

I've had this twice. Two glasses each time. Woke up with a headache both times. That's what I get for forcing this swill down.

Great wine at a great price from Costco... I just staring my journey through wine life trying to explore what out there. This wine had a great taste, there a creamy taste with a flames barreled.

Peachy, toasty, butterscotch, slightly nutty.

Buttery, affordable and easy to pair with a lot of great foods. Smooth and has the toasted coconut flavor without being overwhelming.

A bit heavy on the oak for Bonnie's taste, but I really liked it. Great with seared sea scallops, couscous with sautéed peppers, and sugar snap peas.
