Fruit forward and still young, but already very enjoyable.
Showing black fruits with oak, licorice, spices, coffee, vanilla, mocha, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso and chocolates.
Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with and very fruity with lots of chocolate notes.
Good right out of the bottle, but way better after an hour of airtime. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
Good by itself or with food, like BBQ burgers.

Ripe cranberries, chocolate, medium nose, 15.5%, hot but the fruit stands up well to the heat. It’s a rich wine and enjoyable.

Tannins are sharp. The spice is real zesty. Love this as a reasonably priced example of Cali Zin. The fruit balance makes it soooooo good with BBQ

As far as Zinfandel goes...This at the top of my list!
Deep dark garnet coloring; big delicious jam on the nose and palate.
It's not as spicy as some zins, which I like, but with such a wonderfully viscous mouthfeel, luscious tannin and dark fruity finish... Who cares!?
This would make one hell of a beurre rouge!
Highly recommended.
