Great Prosecco!
Very very light... Palest of straw color (darn near clear)
Delicate aromas of white flowers, faint green apple and tastes JUST like it smells with tiny little bubbles to match.
Refreshing! So happy it's not sticky sweet.
I tend to be dismissive of anything sweeter than brut but this is a WINNER if you're after an easy refreshing libation.
Cries out for a patio / lounge chairs on a hot afternoon before a big meal. — 9 years ago
The body is crazy crazy garnet (beautiful) and seriously viscous! Dripping crimson down the sides of the glass after a swirl.
Tannins are soft but plentiful. About to eat it with a steak and beurre rouge... Should be a great fit.
Lots of subtle dark fruit with vanilla and a bit of spice.
Definitely fine by itself but can handle food.
I CAN FEEL IT STAINING MY TEETH!
Not a first date wine ;)
but good!

As far as Zinfandel goes...This at the top of my list!
Deep dark garnet coloring; big delicious jam on the nose and palate.
It's not as spicy as some zins, which I like, but with such a wonderfully viscous mouthfeel, luscious tannin and dark fruity finish... Who cares!?
This would make one hell of a beurre rouge!
Highly recommended. — 9 years ago
This was a very interesting champagne.
I believe it was barrel aged which gave it some oaky characteristics.
Crazy for a champagne right?
Complex and oaky... Very unique experience. — 9 years ago
100% Tempranillo
Certainly dark fruit and a hint of leather on the nose
Very oaky ! (Which I like)
nice very ripe dark red fruit on the palate with a little sour hit. Tannin are certainly present but relatively soft for the amount of oak I'm tasting.
Not much of finish which is disappointing as it has potential.
Still not a bad drink. Would be perfect for cooking with. — 9 years ago

Everytjing I want from a Napa Chardonnay.
Buttery, butterscotch, vanilla from the lovely oak.
I don't care what anyone says about reds with beef...
get yourself a nicely marbled ribeye, slather it in butter and this Chardonnay will stand up to those rich flavors.
Yum!! — 9 years ago
Very similar to the brut reserve which is delicious.
Color is a dead ringer for rose gold. (Pink coppery tones) quite gorgeous.
Floral bouquet with fresh cut light fruit.
Palate of cherries, hints of dark red fruit yet very light tasting.
A solid rosé offering.

This is their "flagship" offering.
80% Pinot Meunier / 20% Pinot Noir
Gorgeous light yellow color.
White flowers, sweet lemon on the nose.
Light dried fruit, flowers, spice with a surprisingly long lovely finish.
Classic Pinot Meunier profile.
Refreshing!
Great aperitif, but I think it's much more.
Midnight snack of baguette / cheese / cured meat anyone?
Or a wonderful homemade Sunday brunch accompaniment (think eggs Benedict)
Fully pleasurable and highly recommended!

A gorgeous almost opaque garnet color.
Ripe dark dark fruit and sandalwood / oak with a bit of pepper.
Rich dark berries with a hint of coffee.
Abundant tannin that smack you in the face... But with a velvet glove ;)
Surely an age worthy some but I couldn't keep my hands off it.
Wonderful example of a big fruit forward Napa cab with a well constructed body and long finish. Again I said "fruit forward" so if that's not your thing you may not agree. — 8 years ago
