Big fan of this wine, although still I prefer the Pecorino. Less orange than previous bottle.

The 2019 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is so easy to like, with a bouquet of raw almond and crushed stone with honeyed apples and hints of fresh mint. This soothes the palate with soft textures and ripe orchard fruits, as a mix of salty minerals and brisk acids add tension toward the close. The 2019 is harmonious, youthfully spry and packed full of character, as it tapers off mouthwatering yet grippy under an air of inner florals. (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2021)

The 2018 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo wafts up from the glass with a fresh display of ripe apricot, young mango and a spritz of lime, as yellow florals develop. It splashes across the palate, fleshing out to show salty minerals and tart green apple, with cheek puckering acids tugging at the senses. The finish is long, tongue-curling and bristling with energy, as orchard fruits and hints of savory spice taper off. Cristian Tiberio is very proud of her 2018’s, and I can see why, as this Trebbiano is drinking like a baby white Burgundy.

Peach, apricot, good minerality. Preferred this to pecorino and easy to drink. A bargin for the price.
