Cool blackberry fruit. Hint of VA, acetone, cinnamon, star anise and smoked meat, but amid very clean fruit. Powdery tannins.

Part of Italian wine tasting night. Full body deep rich d’Abruzzo. Jammy rich beet notes. A bit heavy for my liking or drink in the winter with a nice warm ragu.

First vintage release. Dark color black raspberry currants crunchy fruit. Limestone and chalk texture. Undeveloped tannins.
