Happy Hump Day! Today I am trying a Cali Cab from Santa Barbara. On the nose I am getting plum, black raspberry and some oak. On the palate I am getting good dark fruit, black raspberries, black plums, juicy tobacco and hints of oak on the back end with smooth tannins. All in all a very nice wine.

Solid black fruit wrapped in dark chocolate and toast. Lengthy and well integrated. shows some heat but at 14.9%, far less hot that expected.
