Deep and dark ruby red. Layered nose with smoke, black raspberries, black cherries, and slowly developing darker characteristics. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and strong acidity. Full bodied and mouthwatering. Delicious spices on the palate with layers of dark red fruits, blueberries, charred wood, a little savory and iron. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2035.

Nice bold Barossa Shiraz, not cheap at about $US 100, and has been tucked away for some years. Quite dark showing dark and red fruits on nose and palate and a bold fruit forward Oz Shiraz

This premium Shiraz sees a ton of American Oak but the fruit punches through it nicely. Smells like Heitz eucalyptus!
