If this was in a blind taste test, I would've guest Napa Cab all day

I would buy it again,

The name Thorn-Clarke derives literally from the relationship between two long time Barossa families. The winery owners are David and Cheryl Clarke (Thorn) and their son Sam is manager of the winery. Aromas of black fruits and sweet notes. On the palate cherry and sweet blackberry flavors with cacao notes. Fine tannins, well balanced, good structure on a lingering finish ending with oaky notes.

Deep ruby red with a purplish hue. Layered nose with caramel, tobacco, stewed berries, and baking spices. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Lots of dark and red fruits with cinnamon and nutmeg. Semi long finish. Drink till 2021.

This Australia cab / Shiraz is ok but it tastes like it doesn’t know what it wants to be. Mild tannins, flavor not particularly exciting.

Bought at Magruder's. Very berry. Flavors of cherry, blackberry, tannins. Heavier on the tongue. Aftertaste of grapes.
