Thomas Fogarty Winery Walker’s Nebbiolo 2018: Medium-light bodied. Medium acidity. Soft tannins. Red fruit dominate (strawberry, cranberry, raspberry & cherry). White pepper. Dried herbs. Earth. Medium finish. This was a lovely youthful wine; small production & estate grown from above the fog of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA. Extremely enjoyable and a nice reminder of why I love this grape so much. Nice work on providing this atypical domestic expression of the beautiful Italian Nebbiolo grape variety. Cheers🍷

Lots of cherry in the fragrance and it comes through on the palate with a bit of leather. Tannins not as intense as I was expecting perhaps because it is 3+ years old. Delightful. May 2021.

A wonderful take on nebbiolo, new world in style but not overdone with alcohol @12.7%. Underbrush, tart berries & vigor are all the highlights. Had this while on vacation in Princeton , Kauai!
