Opened about an hour before our Thanksgiving meal. The 2019 “Les Grands Chaillots” has gorgeous aromatics: fresh, red, crunchy forest berries, spring time air and just a whiff of horse blanket. On the palate, delicious fresh strawberries and cherries with calcareous minerals. Good structure, with medium tannin and medium+ acid. A love accompaniment to the meal. Drink now or over the next 10 years.

Mushrooms and forest floor. Mild finish. Good Bourgogne grown 5 feet from their 1er Cru vines.

Some interesting evergreen or pine going on. Completely different wine from my last tasting a few years ago.

Drunk too young, guilty again, must be the carpe diem...generous red acid fruit, tipicity, length and easy drinking, though the tannins are intense at this stage

2021 vintage. Last tasted 07.23.24 (9.2). This bottle (like that one, tasted at a fave resto) chilled down a bit and traced over 1.25 hours. That bottle $120 then...now...same bottle $140 off the list. This visit a tad tighter and closer to the vest. Still very nice. 01.21.25.
