Medium Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice notes, grapes from Nuits and Chambolle, aged 25% in new casks. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and blackberry with notes of cacao, cola and spice. Fine tannins, medium+ savory finish, ending with fruit, spice and slight oaky notes.

Not like the '10. But still a good burgundy.

Snappy, rich, round, and zesty - punches well above its price point. The fact that they noted NSG on the label is a bit unfair when blinding friends (post-reveal, of course)

Proof that there are still a few good value wines in #Burgundy.

Totally different than a year ago. Bright red, it seems like there is Cru Gamay blended somewhere in the deep recesses of this wine...or a touch of brett. Much more interesting than a year ago. 1 more bottle that I will lay down for years.

Nose veers on stewy. But nice fruit. A hint of green.

Palate is medium cherry / blackberry fruit. Ok. Not super interesting. Juicy.

Raspberries, cherries, strawberries, and a sprinkle of white pepper on the nose. Smooth texture, blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, white pepper on the palate. Goes down super easy. You gulp this right down. Went with Christmas Day pernil.
