New vintage is more cab like.

Dark and jammy. You know the style.

Credit where it's due...smooth and good fruit if not super soulful.

Took this wine to Duke of Marlborough restaurant in Russell, New Zealand. Maybe a bit past it’s prime.

Bold, Round, Good

Beautiful color, deceiving nose, and a very strong syrah presence make this an enjoyable wine. Dark fruit and hints of chocolate are profound on the palette. Note that the alcohol content is above 15%, which I personally think hinders the quality.

Excellent blend. Cab and syrah come thru big. Dark fruit

Velvety finish. Best left to open up for at least half hour. Had with spicy pasta and veal dish. Very enjoyable

Nice nose. Notes of saddle leather, and black fruit. On the palate, it's chewy, a little bit jammy, rounded, but with some heat, and bramble in the background. Some tannins and cassis. Lingering mouthfeel.

Dark rich berry fruit with toasty oak, medium finish. very engaging. @Sullivan's Steakhouse
