Blackberry, cassis, cherry cola, raspberry, mocha, vanilla, eucalyptus and oak. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

Dec 24th, 2016We toured this vineyard and caves in Sonoma (highly recommend it) run by the family that owned the famous North Beach restaurant in SF. I Picked up this 11 year old Syrah and saved it to pair with Ratatouille and it was one of the best Syrah’s I’ve ever had.

A favorite. A nice Syrah with all sorts of fruit and hearty notes to it. Not difficult to drink.

Sep 13th, 2017Very savory; not quite a pepper bomb, but it makes itself known. Tannins do mellow out after an hour out of the bottle. Not my favorite offering from Petroni but certainly better than average.
