Very savory; not quite a pepper bomb, but it makes itself known. Tannins do mellow out after an hour out of the bottle. Not my favorite offering from Petroni but certainly better than average. — 9 years ago

Dark fruit and oak shine after giving this wine some air. Acidity really integrates well to give it some pop and tannins are held in check enough to not overpower the fruit. — 9 years ago
