Medium bodied, juicy with spice, black pepper, tannin bringing a gentle grip. Would have liked to try it the next day in a leaner version of itself, but ahh .. maybe next bottle.

Cool-ish label even with the cursive. Silky and viscous in the glass. Smells like wine cellars and berry pies. Flavors are musky and muscular. Streak of cooked cherries with lots of mocha and dense, extracted fruit. It’s a pretty smooth and sensuous wine. Ripe, but balanced. I think this is pretty classic Oz Shiraz. And it’s good. Lacks the earthy richness to make it great though.

Clear, deep purple colour with clean, pronounced blackberries and spice on the nose. Dry, medium acidity with well balanced medium tannins. Medium bodied with a medium finish and flavours of blackberry, with a peppery finish. Good quality Shiraz.
