Firewood on the nose. Some vanilla and cough medicine. Ultra cherry and meshed over ripe fruit. Good body, nice acid. Seems hot.

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, spices, chocolates, mocha, tobacco, earth and black pepper.

Medium to full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, spices, vanilla, wood, coffee, chocolates, tobacco, beef jerky and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice California Red Blend. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

Tastes like a typical California Red Blend. This 4 year old is still drinking nicely, but won't last for long. Wine Enthusiasts 84 points.

A blend of mainly Petite Sirah with Syrah, Zinfandel, Merlot and a hint of Malbec.

I paired it with a lamb burger and sweet potatoe fries. (cheat day 😊)

13.5% alcohol by volume.

87 Points.

$17.

Really good discount, so ended up being cheap. Nice wine. Hess usually makes pretty good stuff.

Excellent blend though it doesn't say what the blend is. Went very well with steak! Nice smooth finish.

Honestly not very good. I can't really believe that this isn't a good wine so I would really like to try it again bc it almost tasted as if it'd gone bad

I like the taste. Smells somewhat sweet and fruity on the nose and more mineral on the tongue.
