Very nice middle of the road CA CS! I’m not a huge CA CS fan but this was enjoyable with the delicious bone in rib eye!👍🏻

Cedar, cranberry, strawberry and moderate plus acid. A classic Mount Veeder Cab.

Nose is plum and spice. The palate features dark fruit, cedar, spice and minerals. Tart fruit takes over toward the finish that ends in medium tannins and long acid. A bit on the syrupy side due to the high alcohol content.

2013 is respectable. Another year or two would be helpful. Full bodied. Hints of black cherry.

Lots of big tannins, but pleasant. Delightful, inky, big fruit bouquet without too much sweetness. Needs some time to open in the glass or decanter - complex on palette , balanced with anise and floral. Great core of licorice wild dark blueberry, tarry, but not stringent, cassis. Big & Bold. Lovely. Would buy again and lay down longer - 5 more years would be perfect. Love to find around $45

This is a pretty solid wine and proved ideal for our Tuesday Night Pour. As a P&P, oak, vanilla, frothy mocha, and Christmas baking spices. Sometimes I just want a rich, suave, oaky Cab and this is certainly one that will do the trick for a good price.
