Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Beautiful expression of Willamette Valley Pinot in a warm vintage, nice restraint but gorgeous core of fruit

The vintage sticker fell off, but it was between a 1977 and a 1980, so we are going to say it's a 1978. Stunning. So alive. So much drive. Just amazing. All the superlatives.

Crushed ripe strawberry, red currant, and cooked cranberry. M+ acid, m tannin.

I really liked this. What nice balance of delicate floral/fruit and earth/spice. Delicious.

This wine cripples the feeble descriptives of the written word. If it were a Burgundy it would be a $700 bottle, if you could find one.

Very reduced initially but with air a great Oregon Pinot comes to life - next day even better.
