I love it when domestic Merlots stretch beyond their simple grapes and take on complexities of their own characteristics. Lovely medium-full body contains the boisterous fruit, and wisps of flint, earth, and anise.

Feb 27th, 2021Deep purple with some ruby highlights. Aroma is oak, plum, and leather. Not particularly tannic on the palate, but plenty of jammy fruit (plum, blackberry), as well as leather and oaky vanilla notes. In general too many bold moments and not enough sophistication. An 87.
