Cool bottle, more gamay than Pinot (I think) - funky and about sour, sorta like an earthier Touraine perhaps? Decanted before serving

Red berries, forest floor, dusty tannins from the amphora aging. Delicious--would buy again if the price were just a wee bit lower

Gamay Noir/Pinot Noir blend made to commemorate a time when growing anything other than Riesling in Mosel was against the law.

Very austere, mouth-watering acid, focused red fruit with graphite and green pepper notes. It needs time to integrate, but good now with something fatty.

Red Blend (Pinot Noir / Gamay) 459, aged in amphora (clay pots). Really interesting wine, light bodied, clean nose and bright berries. Without wood aging it is well structured, distinctive and has an interesting after taste. Great with the halibut, duck and roasted cauliflower.

A bit tangy, but soft. Very light with slight minerality. I get more Gamay then Pinot.
Easy drink.
