Such a nice surprise. Tart with licorice, leather and oak. Alcohol hit is not represented by the 14.5%. Quite smooth really.

Nice entry level Barolo with a massive punch of Finnish licorice (Salmiakki) on the nose with tar, leather and more sticky ness of black réglisse on the palate.

a nice young barolo, much milder tannins than i’d expect and very well integrated already.

Med high tannins, high alcohol, high acid, med high body, dry

Very smooth. Great with my pasta!

Thought this was a fantastic wine. Haven’t had many Barolo and the ones I have tried were nothing like this. Doesn’t have the classic full body, but rather a medium body, medium tannin, medium to high acidity. Floral is definitely coming through. Very well balanced. Didn’t feel like 14% at all. Was it a good representation of Barolo? Not sure yet but I loved it.
