Terra d'Uro
La Enfermera Toro Tempranillo
Simple wine, dark Ruby red with black fruit aromas and spice notes. On the palate ripe blackberry and plum flavors with black pepper and strong tannins. Medium finish ending with notes of fruit and spice. Just OK. Tasting Sample.

Aug 14th, 2019Smells like candied fruit perfume.
Soft, salty, faint rose, jolly rancher cherry, fruit leather, candy cigarettes.
Powdery tannins, with chewy new oak.
Pairing with “Blue planet II: deep oceans”

I extremely enjoy Spanish wines, for its value, complexity, age worthiness and taste. I do love wines from the Toro. Region. Tried this about 6 months ago and was not overly impressed so I decided to give another try. Ruby with dark fruit aromas and spicy notes. On the palate dark berry flavor with pepper spice. Fine tannins on medium finish ending with earthy notes. Better this time. Tasting Sample.

Medium plus tannins. Medium acidity. Tempranillo from the region that says it’s theirs and theirs alone (they call it “Tinta de Toro”). Dark red fruit and tobacco aligned with food friendly acidity makes a wine that you can take to any dinner at an incredibly reasonable price. QPR is amazingly high as will be your satisfaction. Drink now through 2024.
