Sliced green apple and lemon essence on the nose, with a floral hint of jasmine blossoms. Pleasantly creamy yet nicely balanced with citric acidity and sea saltiness. A decent take for California on a white Rhône blend. A bit too much warmth to rate 9+. Perhaps to my fault, as I may have waited too long to enjoy this vintage. Time may have flattened the layers as I really enjoyed it a year earlier.

May 31st, 2019Buttery sundrenched wheat fields with warm pear tartlett on the nose and hints of fresh green grass in the sea salt air. Oaky butter front mouth with baked breaded crust and fresh pear. Crisply ocean sea salt finish. Very good expression of nose and palate harmony.
