Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

I must say that it didn’t agree with me... light and it’s a dry mistela! Just a bottle before the first family skiing trip

Solid Brunello. Grippy tannins, integrated at 8 years but this wine still has a way to go. I’d like to revisit in 3 to 5 years.

v11. Very good. Decant… and wait. Soft dusty, toast and leather nose. Bright. Bold, rich cherry and black cherry fruit. Smooth, slightly tart. Slightly tight soft leather finish.

Loads of dark tart fruits, leather, toasty oak and spices at first. Opens up nicely with brighter red fruits and nice acidity. Big classic Brunello, great product. Will benefit from cellaring.

Earthy, smooth, just a hint of smoke. 💯
