The 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo Martinenga is pretty, silky and gracious, as the Grésy wines always are. Bright red berry fruit, crushed flowers and spice are nicely lifted in this fresh, mid-weight offering. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2021)

Very floral and red-berry scented nose, also displaying some subtle citrus and spice notes with menthol and cherry licquer finish. This has become a perennial favorite in my house, usually for casual food-friendly occasions.

Perhaps not as exciting as the 2015, but always a fine effort. Simpler, unoaked and much more affordable Barbaresco than the official cru wines at this price is always a no-brainer for me. The typical flowery, tart red berry and mint profile but with a bit less density and primary fruit than its predecessor. Great value as always.

The 2015 Langhe DOC bottling is really a strong effort. 100% Nebbiolo and declassified Barbaresco from the Martinenga cru, these younger vines are already producing some gorgeous fruit. I found this to be appreciably more elegant and complex than prior vintages, but perhaps that's just my palate evolving along with the young vines. The tannins are much softer than I was expecting, and such lovely fruit and aromatics at this stage. I really admire the purity and integrity of this wine at this modest price. Part of the beauty of Piedmont is discovering these pure Nebbiolo wines year in and year out that are quite serious and affordable. They provide lovely food wines to enjoy while our Barolo and Barbaresco are resting. Absolutely one to seek out and buy in multiples. A real steal at less than $20.

Unoaked Nebbiolo- a little chill on it and it siiiings. Bright red cherry fruit with just a hint of juniper and earthy anise. Hits like a really tart pinot noir, but palate is pleasantly grippy with high acidity. Bringing to thanksgiving

Definitely to be eaten with food...we had fajitas (chicken). Gets better as it opens. It's a so-so good bottle.

Beautiful aromatics. Tons of floral note. Subdued and well-integrated tannin. Great Langhe Nebb.

Light tannins. Not very much depth. Young.

Would be better with some age, still has that neoprene character of young Nebbiolo
