Oreno Toscana Super Tuscan Blend

Surprisingly youthful for being a 2001. Highly complex without any flavor overly dominant. Wonderful Super Tuscan.

Bacon fat, black plum. Ripe, smooth, bold. low acid, chalky tannin finish. Kind of simple, needing an extravagant spicy dish to match. Maybe Indian food.

Bordeaux blend super Tuscan is lovely to drink now. Rich fruit resolved tannins and still many years ahead.

Good but past its prime

Better than I expected. Silky supple and forward fruit. Recommended and a good value. 2001 vintage.

Mature smooth Super Tuscan with plenty of life ahead

I'm sure my pallate's not sophisticated enough to enjoy this big Tuscan... tastes a Lil dirrty to me. Can't wait to revisit this experience in 10yrs to see what I think... :)

Good not great though
Lots of Tuscan dirt but more subdued without a great nose to compensate. Though supposedly in its peak, it felt a bit late

Flawed... prematurely aged. Cork brittle.
