* structure: medium body, medium+ acid, velvety tannins, 14% alcohol

* winemaking: blend of indigenous Veronese varieties including 75% Corvina/10% Rondinella/15% Corvinone, made from second pressing of the lightly pressed fruit used in the Bertani Amarone, aged 18 months in traditional large oak barrels

Nov 19th, 2019Raisins, licorice, and dark fruit. Had hype coming in but I didn’t love this. I could just need a break from Ripasso. Went well enough with beef stew in winter.
