Tenuta Monteti
Toscana Super Tuscan Blend
Scents of walnut and cedar...notes of black fruit and toasted bread. In the mouth, silkiness and freshness interweave with an excellent web of tannins leading to an excellent and long finish. Probably has ten more years in it...

Perhaps it was better a few years ago. Certainly still drinkable .

Despite the stemware, this blew my mind. A clean, pure funk that leads into dark, rich fruit, with a little sea salt, and espresso.

Tenuta Monteti, with its flagship wine Monteti, is situated in Toscana, Maremma, near Grosetto, not far from the coast. The winery is named after the hill protecting the vines from the Mediterranean sea winds.
