Named after a property on the estate and when translated it means “little house by the roads”. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark ripe fruits and spices. On the palate jammy berry flavors, with licorice, spice, pepper and earthy mineral feel. Fine soft tannins, medium savory finish ending with mushroom notes. An ok wine! Tasted twice, liked it better first time.

A smooth, big Italian that presents and drinks like a big smooth Bordeaux. Commanding on the nose, smooth sailing on the palette as turns into a study sharp finish. Notes of earth, mature red fruit and a well structured quality all around. No need to send out an SOS on this one, being as it’s from Sting and his wife’s vineyard. Pour another glass!

Sting's wine...bought for 16 bucks as a "what the heck, why not". Year is 2009... The bottle doesn't say which grape varietals are used but I'm going to guess there is a good percentage of merlot (?) as it has a really smooth mouth-feel. I taste blackberry and my husband tastes plum. Really deep purple color
