Dried rose petals, dried cherries, leather. Grippy tannin and acidity. Lovely wine in an old world style that definitely needs food.

Bought at the winery in 2008. Still young but with four hours decanting is surprisingly accessible. Thought I was pulling the cork on a 2005 which is a much inferior vintage at biondi santi

We had the 2004 Vintage on 6/22/24. Still had some fruit and leather, still good. Probably better a few years ago.

This was a wow wine! Shared with a good friend at a steak house. Pure beam of cherry, with developed notes including dates, tobacco, and balsamic reduction. Nose was super floral and refined. Elegant wine. What a treat. Love the 2004 Brunello’s and Biondi Santi is at the top of the pyramid.

The elegance you expect from Biondi Santi with stunning power. A nose of earth and tobacco with dark cherries and scrub.

Putting this one away for a while too... Sounds like it needs quite a few years in the cellar from the online reviews.
