Pale ruby color. Medium + aromas of dark cherries, violets, strawberries, sage, and leather. Similar flavors, with soft, mature tannins and rich chocolate notes. Medium + finish. Very enticing wine!

Surprisingly light on the palate considering how much fruit comes through on the nose, very well-balanced and drinking in its prime. A personal favorite of mine.

Surprised at the freshness of this '06. Though Cab Franc is the main component, I picked up more of the Cab Sauv on the nose. From a Garagiste mystery case.

Others I had this with liked this more I did, a bit too farmyard on the nose for me. I think it would have been better a few years back.
