Focused, elegant. Ripe red and black fruits. More perfumed than other Chianti Classico tasted in previous flight. Very classic style of Chianti. On the palate: more weight and structure, tannins are velvet.

Gran Selezione...I'm not so sure. A little too rustic and earthy to deserve that designation, but what do I know...just a damn American tourist.
