Really nice. Light to medium bodied but with more depth beyond just red fruit, earthy and actually felt a little fuller on the palate than it looks in the glass. Would go really well with pasta and even a cheese plate with some cured meats. Around $30.

Blend of primarily Nerello Mascalese (90%) along with Nerello Cappuccio (8%) and Carricante (2%). Bright (opaque) garnet color with a ruby core. Intense aromas of sour cherries, cloves, dried rose petals and smoke. The palate is flush with red berry fruit, minerals, basil and mint. Hint of saline on the smokey medium finish. Bright acidity, light bodied and nicely rounded tannins. Quite lively and savory.
