Amazing. Juicy, youthful fruits: sweet berry, dried hibiscus, and blackberries. Lovely tannins and a wash of dark chocolate on the finish. Excellent on its own, but also highlights salty cheeses, richer sauces and proteins.

Nice Brunello from a vintage we always enjoy. This one is definitely more ripe and forward than my general preference but still a nice wine with a sausage ragu.

A steal at the price point at a local restaurant. Cherries and leather with a nice tannic finish. Age will improve for sure. Paired with Bolognese on papparadelle.

Very dark garnet, nose of some earth and dark red/black fruit (plum, cherry). Dry with a hint of sweetness, medium+ tannins, mild acidity. Very nice- better with food.
