Collosorbo's 2016 Rosso di Montalcino offers terrific density and plushness, qualities that are so typical of the wines from this part of the appellation. Dense but juicy, showing a sappy quality, but plenty of extract nicely frames the red fruit and candied violet flavors. The long finish is given added punch by strong underlying minerality.
