The 2020 Uno, the estate's top bottling is another super-distinctive wine in this range from Tenuta di Carleone. Readers will want to cellar the 2020 for at least a year, as it is rather tightly wound at this stage. Vibrant acids cut through a core of Sangiovese fruit in this nervy, taut wine. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2023)

These wines are excellent. High toned fruit, ripe cherry and spice. Needs more time but good with a long decant.

Jan 25th, 2021Beautiful floral nose, a bit more closed on the palate with red cherry, cedar, fine persistent tannins 🍒👌

Jun 25th, 2023Nice wine but actually didn’t enjoy it as much as either his Il Guercio or the more entry level Chianti Classico. I think this is mostly just too young, and the tannins are quite tight with keeps the fruit somewhat inaccessible. Still clearly very nice with nice pure cherry and strawberry on the nose and great tension and acid.
