Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2020 Chianti Classico pours a garnet color with medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of Montmorency cherries, Balsamico, mushrooms, stinky socks and cool spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium, a touch sweet and sour. Drink now.

Aug 13th, 2024This was a good wine. Acid with sour berry vibes. I don’t think the flavor is as complex as I would have hoped for but it’s rigidity doesn’t leave me wanting too much more. I gives everything up front without too much on the back end. Solid wine.

Jul 27th, 2023One of the best chiantis I’ve had in a while. Leather and tobacco on the nose. Tons of cherry, pretty acidic & astringent. I prefer them a bit more dry and jammy but still a good wine
