Tannins were a bit rough but otherwise incredibly delicious.

With Mindy--as usual--underwhelmed. Rather tannic, lacks the transparency the best Etna wines have. New-Worldy. Good, not great and shows little Etna character.

Consistent notes

Biggest Etna Rosso I’ve ever had. Bold and rustic with tar, garrique, dark cherries and just got better and better with the more air it got. Irresistible and can’t wait to see how the next bottle goes.

Wow! Amazing juice. Thx to @Max Kogod for turning me onto this one. By the tawny brick red color, you're thinking Nebbiolo, and there are some shared characteristics with, say, aged Barbaresco. But this is a bit more brooding in temperament. Those volcanic ash soils breed some intense wines. Love this producer!

So, take one= peppery Rhone, take two=chalky Loire. Take three=nerello. yes sir!

Hard to rate since it was very slightly corked. But it had a ton of fruit and quite a lush wine.

Good structure with a load of tannins, though quite subtle.

Light, dry, delicious. Awesome.

Fresco, sapido, persistente. Ottimo sulla pasta alla Norma!
