Gorgeous nose of black berries, vanilla, leather, and maybe a bit of truffle? On the palate it feels rich but not heavy, layered with sweet fig followed by herbs and spices. The right amount of acidity gives it freshness. An elegant wine.

'04 is ready to drink. Initially hot nose opened into an almost cherry candy fruit. Later on the palate a deep ripe fruit.. Soft tannins. Delightful with a veal dish.
