Taste and look of a classic old world style red. Smooth silky, structured, lots of berry, currant, pepper. The 2006 had a bit of a young / raw feel almost like it wasn't fully mature Sangiovese . I think I will hold my other bottle for another 3-5 years. — 9 years ago

Gorgeous nose of black berries, vanilla, leather, and maybe a bit of truffle? On the palate it feels rich but not heavy, layered with sweet fig followed by herbs and spices. The right amount of acidity gives it freshness. An elegant wine. — 9 years ago
