Very approachable right now. Generous style with supple tannins.

Beautiful wine. Aromatic, bright youthful tannins with floral notes. Will only get better but great now too. 93

Grabbed another bottle from the cellar. Wow! Ruby red with aromas of red berry fruit and woody spice. On the palate flavors of sweet cherry, dark berry and plum, fine silky tannins, savory, well balanced with cacao and gentle pepper spice. Lingering finish ending with cedar oak and peppery spice notes. Caparzo makes great Brunello’s, at a great price, so grab one, you won’t be disappointed. The ‘11 is tasting great and still has room to run.

Nariz: aromas no muy notables al abrir la botella y algo de alcohol. Depues de 15 minutos se notan los aromas claramente. Cereza, frambuesa, especies secas, tabaco, cuero.

Boca: taninos M y bastante domados, acidez M, alcohol M+. Buen vino por el precio. Lo dejaria coger un poco de aire antes de servir. Se puede tomar ahora o guardar.

Ripe, luscious cherries. Dark chocolate. Dried tobacco leaves. Mild tannins. Paired perfectly with our pasta dish.

Cherry/strawberry, dried in character, great tannin and acid, tannins smooth. Tomato leaf and slight balsamic..I thought it was great.
