Deep garnet red. Layered and a bit dirty to start. Notes of forest floor, savory, tobacco, dark fruits, and cedar. Well integrated medium tannins (6/10) and acidity. Layered palate with black currants, cigar box, damp leaves and mountain berries. Balanced and still kicking. Medium bodied with a long finish. Very impressed with this 12 year old bottle from diamond mountain. Drink within the next two years in order to keep the power. Drink till 2019.

Hint of blue notes, violets, concentrated and plush black fruits, sweet cassis, black plum, blackberry pie, sweet vanilla, prune, black pepper, graham cracker, cocoa, hot chocolate, just a hint of tobacco and cedar as it opens up more. 2yrs in 100% new french oak. Ripe and high Tannins, palate is well balanced and amazing today. Structure is great. Will age easily 10+ yrs. Drinking well today

So damn good! Only 40 cases made. I highly recommend getting some if you can. Fans of small production, mountainside fruit will love this.
