Good 20 year tawny. Butterscotch, burnt caramel, and maple syrup mixed with nuts and new leather. Has some dried figs and raisins in there too. Smooth and sweet. Perfect with the pastel de nata!

Intense amber/ruby color. Pronounced aromas and flavors of jammy fruit, caramel, blackstrap molasses, figs, spices, nuts and oak. Full, rich and concentrated in the mouth with quite a long, smooth and creamy finish. Beautifully complex.

JL Fladgate tasting 10/20/16. Nose more complex and purer on fruit. Body that's supple and sweetness is balanced by firm structure. Good long finish.
