Taylor Made
Chardonnay Frenck Oak
Adelaide Hills, Mount Lofty Ranges, South Australia, Australia

Did you catch my post last week? I made cheese!!
Yep thanks to the lovely folk at Taylor Made Wines, I was invited to an online cheesemaking class with Omonom Cheesemaking. I was sent a cheesemaking kit and this bottle of Taylor Made 2019 French Oak Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills to go with it 😋
If you haven’t signed up for the next class on the 26th of August you should do it!
When you buy your ticket ($43) you get to choose a bottle of wine to go with your cheesemaking kit. Naturally I choose Chardonnay 💃
There’s also a Pinot Noir or Rosé to choose from. I think my pick was pretty darn good though and potentially improved my cheesemaking skills 😜
It’s a yellow-y peach shade in the glass. Delicious notes of orchard fruits, vanilla oak, citrus and a bit of sea salt come through on the nose. While in the mouth it’s full of juicy peaches and nectarines with a lick of honeydew melon, subtle oak and smooth creamy cashew nut. Yumo 😋
So who’s coming to the next wine & cheesemaking class? I’ve ordered my ticket 🙌🍷🧀
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
