Good black fruit flavour. Spice and heat that you would expect from a proper California cab sauv. Very drinkable. Long finish. I particularly like that the spicy notes on the front end of this wine disappear quickly. In and out.

Very pleasing wine, and it's worth the higher price. It is very good, though I think there are competitive wines available for less. Feels like it could lay down For another year or two.

Ahh..how I adore David Tate wines. 8 barrel production of Single Vineyard My Veeder Cab. Beautiful complexity in the aromas on a very delicate nose - crushed cherries, lavender, creme de casis, and cedar. The pallet was bold, and forgiving, with near perfect tannin integration. The fruit was not over ripe, nor overpowering and the oak is just right. Black plim, blackberries, mocha, gravel dust, vanilla, and spice on the finish.

Deep red (almost black) in color. Blueberry compote and black currant aromas with hints of caramel, chocolate and ash. Black currant flavors with hints of cedar and vanilla. Long and silky finish. Excellent balance. Underrated producer.

In Ibiza on Crystal Serenity cruising to Rome. I’m not remembering how I acquired this wine. Had some last night and finished it off tonight.

At home tonight with cauliflower casserole and rib eye cap from Costco. Delicious! Enjoyed this wine. Not remembering the cost.
