This is a delicious Sangiovese from Montalcino, in Tuscany. Elegant with a big mouthfeel, and looks so much lighter than it feels.
This Brunello Riserva from the great 2016 vintage is still young, and needs a few more years of bottle time. However, already enjoyable even by itself. Will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.

Still quite early for this vintage, starts off very flat but mellows out in the glass, with nice earth and leather. Would recommend decanting first.
