Regaleali Nero D'Avola

This wine is dark red in the glass, almost indigo. On the nose, the savory notes jump out first. Tar, spice, cedar and cigars combine for a superior olfactory presentation. The palate brings black fruit and savory notes together, as plum and blackberry meld with earth, leather and tobacco for a formidable display. The tannins are medium firm, which is great for sipping and functional for pairing with a pan fried pork chop.

Ruby with aromas of red fruits, sweet spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry with licorice and spicy notes. Soft fine tannins, well balanced with acidity, medium finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Drink now, while it’s fresh, good value! Tasting Sample.

Airy and light. Light tannins - has some licorice on the back end which wasn’t my favorite. Just okay.

Perfect dinner wine. Complements flavorful food like lasagna or tagine. Not as peppery or dark as cab sauv or Malbec, but enjoyable sipping, too.

Blackberry and cherry notes, but tastes like fermented, watered down jelly without the sugar.
