CdP just isn't my jam, even when it's as idiosyncratic as this. Intellectually compelling, but I struggle with the enjoyment. That said, this killed it at the tasting, so it's a me issue. Thanks @Max Kogod and #kogodwinemerchant !

Just showing a little bricking at the edge. Saddle, dried dates, orange peel and cardamom on the nose. Plum and black tea with a peppery finish.

Beautiful dark fruit and spice in the glass....brambly, herbaceous aromas....rolls across the palate effortlessly, still lively and young with all of the earthy tinged black fruit, tea leaf, and kirsch that CdPs typically show...wish i had more to lay down for another 5-10 years...
